WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW & DO

You will need to study the course learner guides provided at the time of booking and fill in the activity book prior to attending this course (please ensure you bring these books with you)

You must understand and speak the English language at a level that enables the safe performance in the workplace

You must supply identification, including (1) form of current photo identification
-
Specific identification requirements apply to HRW units (red), please refer to the table for the appropriate state of residence
-
You must supply evidence of Australian residence
-
Wear comfortable and practical clothing and enclosed footwear
-
Tea & Coffee is provided; local shops are within walking distance for those who wish to purchase their lunch.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the commencement of training.
PAYMENT & TRADING TERMS
-
All courses require a position holding deposit of 20%. Applicants will be advised of the amount at the time of the booking. Payment for the balance is required prior to the final assessment being conducted. Corporate clients, following a successful credit reference check, will be forwarded an authority to invoice on the term of a 14 day account.

Facilities include Credit Card, EFTPOS, Cheque or Cash.
CANCELLATION & WITHDRAWALS
In the event of cancellation or withdrawal from this course as much notice as possible is required to avoid cancellation fees.

Within 72 hours of booking 10% of the course will be payable to LICENCE ME.

Within 48 hours of booking 50% of the course will be payable to LICENCE ME.
-
Within 24 hours of booking 100% cancellation fees are payable to LICENCE ME.

In the event LICENCE ME is not notified of the cancellation and the student does not attend training the full course fee will be applicable, the student agreement form specifies that the student/client is liable for full course fees upon non-attendance.

If LICENCE ME cancels the training course, and is not rescheduling then a full refund will be returned to the payer.

Plant & Machinery


Applicants are required to pass a Knowledge Test and Eyesight Test prior to the commencement of training:

NSW RMS:
-
The Tests are conducted at an RMS Office
-
You should obtain the NSW Heavy Vehicle driver handbook and study it. It is available online or from an RMS office
-
You can practice the Heavy vehicle knowledge test on the RMS website as many times as you like.

When you are confident with your practice results go to the RMS (no need to book in) and undertake the knowledge test. You need to do this at least 3 days prior to your driver training.

On successful completion of your Knowledge and Eyesight tests you will be required to purchase your training Log Books (“HVCBA Learner Logbook” & “A Guide to HVCBA”)

Vicroads

The Tests are conducted at our offices.

The Truck & Bus Handbook is available from Vicroads website or for purchase at a Vicroads office. Please study it, as this is what your assessment will be based on.

You may attend our offices prior to your training to complete these tests.
